The fallball season is designed to give HALL players an opportunity to build on the skills they developed during the previous spring/summer before the winter off season starts.  Players are split up into two divisions based on their playing age, 8-9 or 10-11. The goal is skill development, but play is fast and competitive.  The majority of games are interleague vs St. Louis Park, Golden Valley or Crystal.  Fallball is a great opportunity for those players planning on moving up to Minors A or Majors the following season.  It allows them to get some early exposure and coaching to pitching and stealling if moving up from Minors B, or exposure to faster play and better pitching if moving into Majors.  The typical schedule is 1-2 practices per week and a game on Sunday afternoon.  Games are scheduled Sunday's between Labor Day and  MEA weekend.
