Welcome Parents, Players, Coaches, and Volunteers to the Hopkins Area Little League Web site. Hopkins Area Little League (HALL) prides itself on teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and baseball skills in a safe and enjoyable environment. We offer official Little League baseball at the beautiful Maetzold baseball facility, located in the heart of Hopkins, just 1 block north of Main Street. With nearly 400 boys and girls participating from 7 area schools, your children will probably see some old friends, meet new friends and enjoy developing their baseball skills with HALL. If you have questions or comments about the league, website, or the organization in general, you can either email us by clicking HERE or send mail to HALL, P.O. Box 62, Hopkins, MN 55343.
Thank you for your interest and participation.
To all Hopkins Area Little League families,
Due to the outbreak of the Pandemic that is sweeping throughout the country at a very high rate. Little League International has now temporarily postponed our Opening Day to 11 May 2020. Little League International and its board of directors are doing what they can to accommodate all leagues around the U.S during this horrible time. They are looking at changing the post season so that there is still time to get the regular season going in full effect. What this means for us is that we cannot hold any activities, i.e Practice, Parents Night, Field Clean up etc.
The Hopkins Little League Board of amazing volunteers and myself are working hard at this moment to accommodate a strategy to fit everything into everyone calendars, so that we can possibly begin the season on May 11th. We would also like to send out our deepest sympathies to all families affected by these terrible times, and to let everyone know that if there is anything that we can do to help, please reach out to any of us and we will do our best to help. Our League has always been community and volunteer driven and we want to make sure that we are there for our community and volunteers at all costs. I will continue to reach out and keep you all in the loop as I hear from the District or Little League International.
